CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For its second event celebrating life’s big and small “firsts,” Bounty Paper Towels has teamed up with soon-to-be dog owner Jeff Mauro, host of Sandwich Kings on Food Network, to celebrate National Pet Day in Chicago. Bounty, with the help of Mauro, wants to remind everyone that Bounty is there to help new pet owners enjoy the memorable first moments with your pets and not worry about the mess.

Welcoming a new pet to the family is one of the messiest firsts you can experience. According to a survey conducted by Bounty and Wakefield Research, on average it takes Americans 8 minutes to forgive a new pet for making their first mess in the home. During the event, attendees can visit the “Messy But Memorable” sessions, which will feature quick tips and tricks for feeding, potty-training, bathing, grooming and most importantly – clean-up. 4Paws4U4Ever, a family-run shelter that believes animals should be treated with kindness and love, will also be there to give attendees the opportunity to adopt a new furry friend.
